I am a storyteller. I learned it as a boy, sitting at the foot of my father’s bed. He’d tell me about growing up in a sawmill town in East Texas. About Uncle Willie, who fished for chickens with a hook and bread under a neighbor’s shack. About the grocery store he worked in from sunup to sundown. Those stories were simple, raw, and true. They stayed with me.
For several decades now, I’ve worked as a journalist, writer, and speechwriter. I’ve followed survivors of wars and disasters. I’ve seen the wreckage and the hope that rise from it. I’ve written stories and speeches about the things that matter—food, resilience, humanity, and survival. My work has been published in Foreign Policy, The Guardian, Newsweek, and shown in galleries and museums in Chicago, Rome, and Venice.
What can I do for you? I craft narratives that cut through complexity and get to the heart of the story. Whether it’s developing speeches that inspire, creating strategic communications that drive action, or telling your story through words, images, or video, I deliver work that resonates. For UN agencies, businesses, and media companies, I ensure your message is clear, impactful, and impossible to ignore. Whatever your story is, I’ll help you tell it in a way that makes people listen—and remember.
